We provide a cooler with bottled water, extra towels, a large map, first aid kit, head lights, flashlights, underwater lights, umbrellas, trekking poles, sanitation wipes, hand sanitizer, Dramamine, paper towels, small trash bags, and other necessities.

What should we pack for the tours or hikes?

Accepted Answer

For your adventure, bring these essentials: 1. Comfortable Footwear: Sturdy shoes or hiking boots for uneven terrain. Consider all-in-one shoes for getting wet, like Chaco, Teva, Keen, Vibram, or reef shoes. You may want to bring backup sandals to change into at times. 2. Weather-Appropriate Clothing: Maui's weather can vary; dress in layers to adapt to changing conditions. Breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics are ideal. If swimming, wear a bathing suit under your clothes, and bring hotel towels. 3. Sun protection: The Hawaiian sun can be intense. Bring a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and environmentally safe sunscreen (without Oxybenzone, Octinoxate, or other harmful ingredients). 4. Adventure Gear: Trekking poles or a small backpack if desired. We provide some essential gear, but your comfort items are welcome. These items ensure you enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and unique experiences fully.

Accepted Answer

Half-day hikes and the Hidden Gems Rainforest tour include light snacks and bottled water. Road to Hana tours include fresh local banana bread and bottled water. The Custom Valley Isle Tour includes bottled water, and you can buy meals or local snacks at select stops on full-day tours.

A standard tipping range is typically 10-20% of the tour cost, reflecting the amount of personal service and attention to detail provided.
